The Microshift R8 rear derailleur is a very good value for money derailleur. It offers efficient shifting, is compatible with the Shimano Indexation System (SIS) and works well with Shimano parts.

You may notice it getting a bit squeaky after two years of regular riding. Put a drop of chain lube on the jockey-wheel axles and the pivot points, and you'll be golden.
