Raffle for Palestine

C&L Cycle and Bassi stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine and join its voice to those calling for a permanent ceasefire.

Our workplace has zero tolerance for violence and oppression (be it antisemitism, islamophobia, racism, xenophobia, misogyny, transphobia, etc.). Therefore, we stand in opposition to the occupation occurring in Gaza, and the financial and military support given by Canada.

We also stand in solidarity with our Jewish friends and neighbours whose synagogues and schools have become targets of violent and senseless defacements and attacks.

In response to our government’s inaction in the face of the ongoing humanitarian crisis, we’ve partnered with our friends at Gurp Stitchwork and Memento Cycles to hold a raffle to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders. The three winners of the raffle will take home one of:

• An in-stock Bassi frameset of their choice
• A Gurp top tube bag, stem bag, pair of Buddy Flaps, bifold wallet, basket strap, repair tape and bungee strap organizers
• A Memento handlebar

Starting tomorrow at noon EST, Tuesday November 28, raffle tickets will be $5 available here, the winners will be drawn at random on Tuesday December 4th at noon EST. There is no limit to the number of tickets per person, every dime will be donated.

We encourage everyone to participate, call your federal representatives, keep showing up to marches and to not lose hope. Regardless of differences of opinion, we should all agree that the loss of one innocent life is one too many.
