Shimano 12-speed FH-MT500 Rear Disc Hub

This hub is compatible with Shimano's wide-range 1x12 cassettes with a 10-tooth small cog, due to its Microspline-type cassette body (or freehub body in Shimano marketing-speak [we apologize for all the Shimano marketroid-speak in this text, it's still a good and useful hub! - ed.]). This makes it incompatible with all the older 11-speed and lower cassettes for Hyperglide systems.

This model is 135mm wide and therefore fits Bassi frames such as the Hog's Back, Montréal and Rachel, as well as many other brands and models from the 1990s to today.
