Growtac Equal Control Lever

The beautiful, excentric geniuses at Growtac have done it again, after perfecting the mechanical disc brake. These "brifter" style levers are the first ever made which function as stepless, non-indexed friction shifters.

The genius part is that they therefore work with any drivetrain, with MTB-pull or road-pull derailers. You can have any setup you want, and as long as it's all-mechanical (which you know C&L Cycles loves) it'll shift it.

The brakes are, like all brifters, road-pull levers, which work with many mechanical brakes and, naturally, the Growtac Equal brakes.

We'll stock these in four models: left shifter, right shifter, left brake-only, right brake-only. Sold per-lever.

We'll also have optional clicky plates for (to start with) Shimano Road 11-speed systems, so that you have an indexed-like experience if you prefer that.

If you do not have bicycle expertise, do not install any parts. If you are unsure about the work, please contact a specialist store or professional shop to do the work.

The dropper seatpost cannot be pulled with the standard shift model. Please wait for future improvements and optional parts to be released.
