Honjo Fenders - 650B Smooth

Honjo fenders have been in the protecting-you-from-road-water business for 75 years. They started when the owner of a custom temple gutter manufacturer fell in love with French bicycles and decided he could probably make better versions of classic fender shapes.

All Honjo fenders are made of lightweight aluminium. They aren't drilled, so they can be custom-fit to every bicycle exactly the way you want. It's a bit more work but a well-installed fender lasts a lot longer since there's less stress on it. They are full-length and will protect not only your butt, but also your bottom bracket, your headset and your shoes. Add a little homemade flap to the front and rear for total protection, including of your riding buddies behind you.

You should choose a fender that will fit in your frame spacing while leaving about 1cm total tire clearance. Honjo helpfully provide a profile diagram, and many styles are available in either 700C or 650B radii. If you have 26" wheels you can use the 650B fenders as long as your tire clears, the wheel circle is pretty close in size, or we also carry a few in 26".

The "smooth" fenders go well with almost any bike. The hammered fenders are a bit too much, so get them if you've got a bike you're building that you know will be Too Much anyway.

Honjo produce many, many models in a variety of shapes and sizes, and even the finest distributors don't carry all of them. We all have to make choices to narrow it down, and these are the models we choose to offer Canadian cyclists.

Fenders come with light, durable hardware you need to install them: stays, nuts and bolts, reinforcement plates and brackets.
