Sometimes you want to use levers designed for drop bars (23.8mm diameter) on smaller diameter flat bars (22.2mm diameter), which is just what these shims are for. They're especially useful for relay/interruptor/cyclocross levers. 2 pieces for 1 lever, you'll need to order 2 sets if you have a pair of brake levers.
