Bassi Smoothie Triple Crankset

We’re big believers in double and triple crankset transmissions for comfortable long-distance riding, regardless the current popularity of single-chainring systems. The triples take us completely into another world of possibilities while allowing the use of an array of affordable and compatible parts.

It is the ideal crankset for lovers of climbing and long day cycling. We use the same concept as with our compact double crankset, but with the addition of a 24 tooth chainring. A nice combination of 46-34-24t chainrings allows riding without mashing too much regardless of the climb. Honestly, that opens up the range of ratio options in the drivetrain. In practice, most long-cage rear derailers will max out at a 34-tooth cog with this crankset, which is plenty low for loaded climbing.

The BB lengths are our suggestion, but they may need adjusting inward or outward according to your frame for chainstay clearance, or for rear hub over locknut dimension spacings that are different than those we specify.
