Gasflux Brazing Flux - 1lb

Type "B" is a carefully homogenized blue paste flux for use with nickel silver, nickel bronze and low fuming bronze alloys in the high temperature brazing of brass, bronze, copper, malleable iron and steel.

• Blue flux
• Contains no potassium fluoride or hydrogen bifluorides
• Non-corrosive
• Used for all bronze and nickel silver braze applications
• Excellent for very high temperatures
• Washes off easily with water
• Filler Metal Type: RBCuZn
• Temperature Range: 1400 ºF – 2200 ºF (760 ºC – 1205 ºC)

Type "U" is a finely ground, all-purpose paste flux for brazing with silver alloys. It readily dissolves unwanted oxides and inhibits further oxidation. Type "U" provides the clean surface needed for the ready flow of molten silver alloys.

• Used for all silver braze applications
• Used with both flame and induction brazing
• A creamy paste flux
• Washes off easily with water
• Filler Metal Type: BAg, BCuP
• Temperature Range: 1050 ºF – 1600 ºF (565 ºC – 870 ºC)

Type "H" is a finely ground all-purpose boric acid free black paste flux for high temperature brazing with silver alloys. It readily dissolves unwanted oxides, inhibits further oxidation, and provides a clean surface needed for the ready flow of molten silver alloys.

• Contains no boric acid
• Low corrosiveness
• Used for all silver braze applications including stainless steels
• Good for elevated temperatures
• Washes off easily with water
• Filler Metal Type: BAg, BCuP
• Temperature range: 1050 ºF – 1700 ºF (565 ºC – 925 ºC)
