When you're loading and unloading your bicycle, whether it be with groceries, camping gear, or precious cargo, a double kickstand will do a much better job of keeping it upright than its one-legged counterpart, but please be careful because overloading it can damage your bicycle's frame. Never leave your loaded bicycle on its double kickstand unsupervised. Double kickstands must be installed such that when it's deployed, both wheels continue to take the bicycle's weight.
