Newsletter 26/09/25
Hello hello hello!
After a gloriously sunny weekend and a pump-track special birthday ride led by Zach, we've had a wet start to the week. But the damp hasn't put a dampener on anything here at C&L! There's no group ride this week, but next Saturday 4th October I'll be leading the Ride with GPS #Coffeeoutside event. It's a global annual coffee ride, with some DIY meet-ups and some organised events.
Make sure to RSVP here; there'll be prizes generously provided by RidewithGPS; good coffee (don't forget to bring your own) and snacks galore - don't miss it!

Like Clockwork, Velo Orange
In a huge piece of news for fans of all things Velo Orange, we are now their official distributors for Canada! That means we'll be carrying way more stock of their beautiful products. Velo Orange has been making classic-looking components with modern functionality for nearly twenty years. Their sleek, metallic fenders are legendary and complement most any bike I can think of. I'll be running down some of the most exciting of their offerings next week, but here are a couple of highlights: - The Zeste cantilever brakes, which have some of the craziest machining I've ever seen on a caliper - The Enterprise Rim, I can't wait to see a 27 1/4 classic restoration project deploy these bad boys. - The Basket-Weave Kraton Grips. I don't know why, but something is very pleasing to me about a basket-weave imitation. - Coloured cable kits. Because it's the finishing touches to a bike that are most important. |

From Orange to Blue
Blue Lug's back! We've re-upped on all the essentials: puff pads, trouser snaps and Blue Lug caps.
The good folks at Blue Lug have perfectly captured the cool factor in everything they do. Their shops in Japan are literally bursting with frames, components and accessories that would send your head into a monumental spin. And how do you transport your haul of Blue Lug goodies from shop to home? Why, in a Fairweather bag of course!
In an exciting new addition to the Blue Lug products at C&L, we're now stocking Fairweather bags. Frame bags, stem pouches, saddle bags and more! Don't let the name fool you, these bags are tough and rough-weather ready. Great for bikepacking, touring, or just commuting. |
