The Ger's Saddle Bag is designed to be used as a saddle or handlebar bag. It features a large main compartment that is roughly 12L as well as two bellowed side pockets. It also features a skirt underneath the lid that allows for overstuffing. Additionally the bag comes with a removable stiffener that allows the bag to be run rackless while maintaining its shape, giving it an ease of use. The webbing used to mount to the saddle loops or handlebars is made to interface well with Voile Nano Straps (3x included with the bag) or regular 1" Voile straps. Constructed with a waxed canvas exterior and a truck tarp lining, the materials were selected with the balance of durability and aesthetic in mind. The Durawax canvas is quite water resistant and the truck tarp is waterproof.
The goal of the design was to unite the appearance of the traditional with the functionality of the modern.
The bag was designed and made as a single person process on a single stitch sewing machine in Toronto. Thus far only 5 of the Tan Saddle bags have been made.
Orders over a minimum threshold ship for free within Canada, with a flat rate for smaller orders. International orders are calculated, and US orders will have tariffs applied in the cart as a line item.
