The goal is to increase access to bikepacking in the Montreal area, and share the opportunity to try out some gear before taking the plunge and buying it yourself.

Do you have a friend who's been interested in bike touring or bike camping, but they don't feel confident about their bike? Are you an experienced camper but have never done it on two wheels? New to the whole entire deal and want to dip a toe in? We've got you.

Our bikepacking library currently consists of four (4) Bassi Hog's Backs (one in each size) complete with sturdy racks from Axiom, voluminous Ortlieb Pannier bags, and a wide variety of bicycle saddles from some of our favourite brands.

We recognize that there can be a significant financial barrier to getting into bikepacking. With a very low-cost or free lending program we hope that more people who are curious about our favourite hobby, way of travelling, and way of visiting our beautiful province, can try it for themselves.

We of course welcome people who want to try the bikes alone, or try the bags or saddles on their own bikes. You won't enjoy travel by bike if you can't do it the way you need it to be.
