Berthoud Aubisque Saddle

The Aubisque saddle is available as a test saddle at our 978 Rachel store. 

The G.Berthoud leather saddles are designed and made in their workshop located in Fleurville, in beautiful South Burgundy, France. They feature a unique serial number engraved on the brass washer on top of the saddle nose. Featuring a pre-softened leather, they still require a few hundred kilometers "break in" period to fully conform to your shape and position. The Aubisque is the most recent model of leather saddle for the city from Berthoud. It shares the dimension of the Mente saddle, offers the same upright position and adds the advantage of being fully serviceable, thus allowing everyone not only to adjust the leather tension but also to perform basic care/cleaning or fully disassemble for maintenance/repair.
