Shimano One-Key Release Crank Caps

Sold as one pair of chrome-steel crank bolt caps.

Shimano used to make these self-extracting systems. Originally these came as a kit with hardened bolts and nylon washers, but, well, we found these in a basement somewhere. They don't work as self-extractors without the washers but they're a handsome dust cap!

Fits normal 22mm square-taper crank threads.

Tighten it on with a pin spanner, or make a tool by bending an old spoke. Make sure to grease or anti-seize the threads to prevent deep sadness a few years down the line when you need to remove the part.

Specs in case you are wise and careful and feel like checking it'll fit (happy-go-lucky riders ignore this part but caveat emptor for you):

• 22x1mm outer thread
• 6mm total thickness
• 16.5mm pin spanner distance
• 12.5mm inner outside diameter
• 17.5mm inner inside diameter
• 3mm thickness for the lip

We only ship tracked which is pricey for the size of this item just on its own so please try to combine it with another order otherwise we'll feel a bit of a way about it.
