Description

This compression plug provides an anchor point to set the headset preload on road, MTB, or gravel bikes with carbon forks. It is important to use a compression plug – aka expander plug – in forks with a carbon steerer tube instead of a star nut. 

  • Compatible with 1-1/8" fork steerer tubes
  • Designed for carbon steerer tubes, but also works with metal steerer tubes
  • Compatible with ID from 23.5mm to 24.5mm steerer tubes
