We set up a lot of dynamo lighting at C&L, and dynamos are like fenders: every bike needs its setup custom-fit. Part of wiring a dynamo connection is making sure the wiring doesn't interfere with bike maintenance or packing for travel. Spade connectors like these help separate the wires into convenient segments.
These are generic, but fit with the stock parts from European manufacturers. Crimp, solder, and heat-shrink for best contact and durability.
The piggyback connector is a special case. It allows a charger (Sinewave make the best ones) to be wired in parallel with the lights right at the hub, while remaining easy to disconnect. Turn off your light to charge if you've got that type of setup, the dynamo doesn't generate enough power to simultaneously light and charge.
