The FL540 is a great 2-finger short pull brake lever to fit any kind of sidepull road calipers or cantilever brakes. It performs well and feels good, we tested it extensively with cantilever brakes and wound up loving it.

Please note: when not installed on a handlebar, it's possible to move this lever far enough to damage the return spring. The lever will work properly with your brakes even if this is the case, but please avoid doing that. When installed, the handlebar will stop the lever before this can happen. Basically: don't fiddle with the lever before you install it, we won't be warrantying a bent spring.
