These frames are due to arrive Winter/Spring 2022. We're not pre-selling them as such, but get in touch by email if you want to line up a build.
The Roadini is an all-around, all-weather road bike. It gives up nothing to modern extreme bikes on smooth, ideal roads, and is far better in every way when conditions are crappy. It has the classical clearances of the oldies, higher quality overall construction, is more comfortable, and rides like a Rivendell.
The 2020 and later 50 to 61cm frames fit tires up to 38mm, or 33 with a fender.
Frame Size Tire Size Minimum PBH
47cm 650B 74.5cm
50cm 700C 77cm
54cm 700C 82cm
57cm 700C 85cm
61cm 700C 89cm

This sizing assumes you’re not comfortable on a modern road bike with a “bike shop fit.” But if you’re a young gumby and like lowish bars, you can ride down a size. A Roadini has the bar-height of a much bigger typical modern bike—so it’s more comfortable.

Compatibility: Quill stem, 1-inch threaded headset (30.2 x 26.4), 130mm rear wheel, 31.8 front der., 26.8mm seat post. The 700c frames require a caliper (or centerpull) with 57mm of reach. Tektro are very good. Use a rim 23mm or narrower because as the arms move out they move up decreasing the reach of the brake.

Frameset comes with an FSA Duron 1" threaded headset, 110mm Shimano bottom bracket and 26.8 Kalloy seapost.

Colour is TBD, but Riv colours are always quite excellent, so don't stress too much on that. Lately we've seen some blue-greys and some green-yellows a lot.
