Velo Orange Cable Kit Coloured

Lovely cable and housing kits by Velo Orange! Each kit includes a bike's worth (and then some). Here's a breakdown:

SHIFT

• 1x 4000mm lined SIS-compatible 5mm diameter housing
• 1x 2500mm length stretched stainless steel slick pre-stretched cable
• 1x 2300mm length stretched stainless steel slick pre-stretched cable
• 4 ferrules
• 2 cable crimps

BRAKE

• 1x 3500mm length ø5mm lined housing, not compressionless
• 1x 3000mm stainless steel slick pre-stretched cable (with one road and one MTB end; cut off the end you don't need)
• 1x 1500mm stainless steel slick pre-stretched cable (with one road and one MTB end; cut off the end you don't need)
• 4 ferrules
• 2 cable crimps

The Retro kits are a little different.
This wound cable housing may look like the housing you saw on vintage bikes, but it's made from modern stainless steel. That means it is rust resistant and super rugged. As with vintage housing, it does not have a plastic outer coating.

The kit includes 4 padded sleeves that can be placed around the housing to prevent scratching your bike's lovely paint. The housing is very flexible, so it's perfect for quick bends without introducing friction. Standard 5mm diameter. Liner is separate from the wound housing, so you can cut it to length.

RETRO SHIFT

• one 2100mm length stretched stainless steel slick pre-stretched cable

• 6 ferrules
• 2 tips
• 4 padded sleeves
