There are bar end mirrors that are significantly less expensive than the Berthoud mirror, however, I still think this is good value item. Bar end mirrors are frequently frustrating and don't stay in the desired position. The set screw on the Berthoud can be tuned such that it will hold its position in rough terrain, while still be ingeasy to adjust position. And of course the Berthoud mirror is a thing of beauty, especially compared to basic plastic mirrors. After all, your bike is worth it. This is my second Berthoud mirror purchased online from C&L. The online ordering process was simple and delivery was prompt. A great customer experience.
