Description

French bikes used to use Metric threads back in the day before their industry was bullied by the ISO into switching, so if you have a pretty old bicyclette the stuff from your parts bin might not fit.

Please note most Peugeot bikes in Canada are not French, they were locally-built and used English threading. It's worth double-checking.

  • Spindles are available in a variety of lengths to fit most cranksets

  • Generally it is the crank model that determines spindle length, so check what spindle length the crank manufacturer recommends or measure your old BB. If between sizes, it's usually wise to choose the longer.
  • Use the Park Tool BBT-22 for installation.
