Overbuilt and reliable rear hub, 135mm QR Rim-Brake
Description

Bitex make hubs that are very well-built, with not-top-of-the-line features that are nonetheless impressive in a hub this relatively affordable. The BX103 is a rear rim-brake 135mm QR hub, so basically designed for touring bikes.

This model features a steel cassette body for HG cassettes, which won't get chewed up and notched over time, with three bearings in the cassette body instead of the more usual two, for six total bearings in the hub. It's got six pawls and a 27-tooth engagement ring - not a racing-bike level of engagement but extremely good!

The cassette body is 11-speed road compatible so requires a 1.85mm spacer for 11-mountain and 8/9/10-speed.
