Stronglight A9 1-inch Sealed Threaded Headset

Stronglight have been making bicycle components continuously in France since 1906 and have been there for every advance. Their factory in Saint-Étienne (birthplace of bicycle touring and of the derailer) forges and mills all their chainrings, fenders and some of their headsets including the A9.

Stronglight has always sought to make the most reliable and durable headsets without adding weight or expense. It's amazing what can be done with good design.

The A9 is for threaded steerers in the BSC standard and is rock-solid with precise tolerances and a minimal 90g weight. Aluminium with steel replaceable sealed cartridge bearings.

Please note this headset's keyed washer is the French-style flat type. If your steerer takes a notch-style keyed washer you may reuse an old one, or file the included one to fit or to be key-less.
